This is art direction as a bag. Inspired by ancient Greek vases the Vase Bag has a sculptural, structured quality.  Minimal gold hardware, a bucket shape and drawstring closure. Exposed stitching at seams with vase like handles.

Nancybird have been working with their leather manufacturer for almost ten years now. Based between Hong Kong and China, the family-run business operates from a small factory in Bao'an, in the Guangdong province. The team at the factory consists of about thirty skilled leather workers, most of whom have been working there for over twenty five years – a fact that speaks volumes about the culture of the business. 

To create these unique, high quality products they use vegetable tanned leathers, screen printed cotton linings, hand stitching and embossing.

The quantities are kept small, sometimes producing as little as five bags in a style.
