Collection: Australian Printed, Sewn, Designed . Meet Togetherness Designs

Esther Sandler started Togetherness in 2011 as a way of exploring and making products for the everyday with a focus on craft techniques, print and pattern.

Each and every piece of this collection is printed, cut and sewn in Melbourne.

The majority of Togetherness products are made in house at her studio, with some sewing outsourced to a local seamstress during times of heavy demand. Esther utilises locally based providers for the digital fabric printing where possible.

The digital printing utilised is a low impact process without the need for harmful chemicals and minimising water use, and the small quantities printed ensures low wastage. Fabric scraps are used up by making small batches of scrunchies and cushion covers from time to time.

Esther has also taken the step of considering environmental footprint beyond the making stage and has implemented sustainable packaging, carbon neutral shipping and recycling or composting of waste products at our studio. She is also excited to be moving to solar power at the studio!
