This cheeky bird, known in Noongar as the Djiti Djiti from its chit-chit-chit chat, is Australia's largest fantail species, with a distinctive black and white plumage and a wagging tail. When you see them they appear to dance about and though small they are brave and will harass much larger birds like a kookaburra or wedge tailed eagle out of it's territory.
