This gorgeous bird is a raucous icon of the Australian bush. Sharing the good looks, both males & females have a similar crest that pops up when attracting a mate or in excitement or danger to make them look bigger. Pink Cockatoos mate for life and live for up to 70 years, settling in the hollow of old trees and noisily bringing up their family together in matrimonial harmony.
